Mr. Beiglarbeigie (Mr. B)

I was born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland and I absolutely love downtown Bethesda. I graduated from Towson University and earned my Bachelors in Elementary Education/Special Education. This is my third year as a teacher and I couldn’t be happier. I love to work with kids and I strive to build relationships that promote life-long learning, problem solving skills, and happiness. When Mr. B is not in school he is either walking or playing Pokemon, Minecraft or Mario.

Ms. Hoffman

I grew up in Washington D.C. and went to Goucher College in Towson, Maryland to study Elementary Education.  While at Goucher, I spent time in Copenhagen, Denmark where I taught English to Kindergarten students.  After graduation, I taught first grade at Bells Mill Elementary and now am in my third year at Somerset.  Currently, I am working on my masters degree and reading specialist certification at the University of Maryland. I am so excited for another wonderful year at Somerset!

I grew up in Bethesda, MD and after college returned to Washington, D.C. to teach in private school in the area.  After five years of teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade, I went to graduate school at University of Michigan to receive my Masters in Elementary Education and complete my student teaching in 1st grade. I again returned to Montgomery County and taught 2nd grade for 6 years at Beverly Farms Elementary School before moving to a team leader position in 3rd grade.  After a wonderful year in 3rd grade, I came to Somerset ES to teach 3rd grade for 2 years with an amazing team! I then decided to return to teach 1st grade where my love of teaching reading, writing and math began. This will be my 4th year teaching 1st grade and I am so excited to be your student's teacher this year, I can’t wait to watch them to grow and succeed in 1st grade.
